Lumexa Dental · Dental EMR
Chart every tooth, not just the visit.
LumexaDental adds a full odontogram to the record — FDI-numbered adult and paediatric dentition, tooth-level findings and treatment plans, and dedicated periodontal, orthodontic, endodontic, paediatric and TMJ charts, with DMFT scoring computed as you chart.
Dentistry does not fit a general clinical note. Findings are per tooth and per surface, they accumulate over years, and the questions asked later are specific: what was done to 36, when, and by whom. A paragraph of free text cannot answer that, which is why most practices end up running a separate dental system and reconciling it by hand.

A connected path through Lumexa Dental
LumexaDental is built on the chart itself. Choose the dentition — adult (32) or paediatric — and the odontogram lays the teeth out in FDI notation, patient’s right and left, upper and lower arch. A single tap opens a tooth’s editor; shift-click or multi-select charts several teeth at once, with Select upper, Select lower, Select all, Invert and Clear for speed on a full-mouth examination.
FDI odontogram
Teeth laid out by quadrant in FDI notation, patient’s right and left, upper and lower.
Adult & paediatric dentition
Switch between adult (32) and paediatric charts on the same patient.
Tooth editor
Single tap opens per-tooth findings, surfaces and notes.
Multi-tooth charting
Shift-click or multi-select, with select upper / lower / all / invert / clear.
Benefits
Why dental teams choose it
Designed for Dental director. FDI-notation odontogram for adult (32) and paediatric dentition; per-tooth and per-surface status model; multi-select and quadrant charting; computed DMFT index; periodontal, orthodontic, endodontic, paediatric and TMJ chart types; versioned chart history; visit-by-visit and tooth-specific treatment plans; embedded in LumexaEMR encounters on the shared patient index.
Tooth-level history
Every finding and treatment is attached to a specific tooth, not a visit note.
Faster full-mouth charting
Multi-select and quadrant selection cut a full examination to a fraction of the clicks.
Standardised scoring
DMFT is computed consistently, so it is comparable across patients and audits.
Every discipline in one chart
Periodontal, orthodontic, endodontic, paediatric and TMJ on the same visit.
Plans that sequence
Visit-by-visit and tooth-specific plans make the treatment course explicit for the patient.
